When can I use a mobility lease?
A mobility lease may be used between a host and a guest for the rental of a furnished unit (primary or secondary residence), providing all the following conditions are met:
- The accommodation is rented for a period of between 1 and 10 months
The mobility lease is used for a minimum duration of 1 month, and maximum of 10 months. It is possible to change the duration of the lease once by amending the lease. Then, the total duration of the extended lease cannot exceed 10 months.
The mobility lease cannot be renewed. This means that once it is over, it is not possible to extend the duration of the mobility lease, nor to start a new lease with the same tenant.
If the same tenant wishes to stay in the furnished unit at the end of the mobility lease, the new lease will necessarily be a “classic” furnished rental lease.
- The tenant must be in need of long term accommodations for certain reasons
Effective on the date of the lease, the tenant must be in one of the following situations:
- Professional training
- Graduate studies
- Apprenticeship contract
- Traineeship
- Voluntary engagement as part of a civic service
- Job transfer
- Temporary assignment / relocation in the context of his professional activity
In the context of a mobility lease, the tenant will make the accommodation his residence. It’s important to note: a mobility lease is not intended to accommodate tourists.
This studio is on the right bank, in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, the Marais Beaubourg, a few metres from the Pompidou Centre (Beaubourg) and Rue Rambuteau, in a lively area, near to shops. The studio is less than 100 metres walk from Rambuteau Metro station. You are just a ten minute walk from Notre Dame cathedral, Beaubourg and Arts-et-Métiers.
This large studio is arranged as follows:
On the 1st floor (2nd floor US, there is a lift in the building) of a very quiet building, in a small street. As you enter this studio you come straight into the main room which has a double bed (140x190), two armchairs and an office corner. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bathroom has a shower, WC and basin.
Rue Rambuteau is the main street in this quartier.

The apartment was very clean, quiet and newly decorated. It was equipped with everything you need for a great stay. Nearby was a supermarket for supplies and good wine. In the heart of Marais and in walking distance of Hotel de Ville etc. RentParis were excellent hosts and were very attentive.

Located on a nice quiet street in an ideal neighborhood near rue Rambuteau shops and metro station. Spacious studio with an expansive bathroom. Loved the especially large walk-in shower. What a plus. I cannot wait to return!

Un grand studio tres confortable et refait a neuf, avec belle sale-de-bains. Rue calme et tranquille, neamoins en plein Coeur du Marais, on fait tout à pied.

The apartment we stayed in was absolutely perfect for our trip to Paris! This would be ideal for anyone traveling alone or with a partner as it is ideally located, very elegant and very quiet/private. The neighborhood is very lively and full of local flavor and has a lot to offer. The host was very accommodating as well. I would definitely recommend this and would stay here again if I every make it back.
